La Nuovagel was founded in 1972 along with its main product: the Screw Batch Freezer, designed to produce artisanal gelato with a more intense flavor and longer-lasting preservation.

In 1995, the first model of the Robomix Emulsifier was launched. This product, with its robustness and capacity, helps gelato makers produce medium to large quantities of mixtures.

However, the most significant moment for La Nuovagel occurred in 2009, when entrepreneur Giandomenico Momi, already leading So.Im.El. (electrical systems), realized the great potential in the features of the machines. Under his supervision, the Allmix Emulsifier was born that same year—a high-performance, practical, and durable emulsifier like no other in the world.

Evolution and innovation are at the heart of La Nuovagel’s technological leadership. The company also made history by becoming the first manufacturer of batch freezers in the world to introduce the inverter in its machines.
