About JAC
Bread Slicers — Belgian Heritage Since 1946
JAC is a family business founded in Liège, Belgium, in 1946 — its name an acronym of the three Craeninckx children: Jacques, Amélie, and Charles. JAC created the first bread slicing machine in 1946 and invented the self-service slicing machine in 1974. Today under CEO Adrien Craeninckx, JAC is the world leader in bread slicers (one in four bread slicers worldwide is a JAC), exporting 90% of production to 90 countries from four sites: Liège (Belgium), Langres (France), Boston (USA), and Moscow (Russia).
